Story

After battling evil, saving Hyrule and becoming the Hero of Time, Link steps away from the land that made him a legend. Setting off on a personal journey of his own, our hero finds himself in the mysterious land of Termina.

While trotting through the woods on his trusty steed, Epona, Link is ambushed by a strange, masked boy known as Skull Kid and his two fairy partners.

The troublesome trio steal Epona and the precious Ocarina of Time from Link, and as a final nasty trick Link is cursed and turned into a Deku Scrub! In the confusion, one of Skull Kid’s fairy friends, Tatl, is left behind. Reluctantly, Tatl teams up with Link so that she can reunite with her fairy brother, Tael. While following Skull Kid’s trail, Link encounters an odd salesman with a strong interest in weird and wonderful masks. This mask salesman has also fallen victim to that imp from the woods’ trickery, and has had a particularly dangerous mask stolen from him – Majora’s Mask.
