Red Faction: Armageddon is the sequel to 2009's Red Faction: Guerrilla. In this thrilling game, the vast landscapes of Mars give way to dark caverns where danger lurks everywhere!

Red Faction: Armageddon takes place several years after Red Faction: Guerrilla. The terraforming technology that makes the planet habitable has been lost, forcing humanity to live underground. Darius Mason, grandson of Alec and Samanya from Red Faction: Guerrilla, makes matters worse when he accidentally stumbles upon an alien life form. Thus begins an adventure in which you must save not only humanity, but also the very existence of Mars!

The special Nano Forge technology used in Red Faction Guerilla to destroy everything can now also be used to build shelter, for example. So main character Darius has a weapon of destruction and construction! In the midst of all possible chaos, Darius also has a powerful weapon, the Exo. This weapon will go right through anything!

In Red Faction: Armageddon, a more controlled experience is presented. The signature GeoMod 2.0 technology is still there to ensure everything can be scrapped to your heart's content again. In addition, objects can be linked to each other. For example, it is possible to swing enemies against metal plates or to connect pillars to enemies, causing buildings to collapse and crush the same enemies again.
